Abuse &
takedown

Something in the directory shouldn't be there? Tell us. We aim to review every report within 24 hours and remove anything clearly infringing, illegal, or abusive.

§

Send a report

Email abuse@videoai.com with:

  • The stream ID (from the popup, ends in e.g. …ABCDEFGH12).
  • Why it shouldn't be there — copyright, privacy, illegal, misattributed, unsafe link.
  • Your relationship to the claim (rights holder, person depicted, concerned user).
  • Proof of authority, if you're claiming rights on behalf of a company.

We'll acknowledge within 24 hours and either remove the stream or explain why we think the claim doesn't apply.

§

DMCA notices (US copyright)

Send notices that comply with 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3) to our designated agent:

dmca agent
Mike Bodge
OpenEyes
dmca@videoai.com

Registration with the US Copyright Office pending — see dmca.copyright.gov/osp.

Valid notices include: your signature, identification of the copyrighted work, the stream ID that contains infringing material, a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use isn't authorized, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you're authorized to act on the rights holder's behalf.

Submitting false takedown notices is illegal under § 512(f). We'll counter-notice and may pursue costs.

§

Privacy concerns

If a camera in the directory captures you (or a private area) in a way you don't consent to, write to privacy@videoai.com. We don't require you to prove identity — we'd rather err on the side of taking something down.

§

Emergency / safety

If a stream in the directory depicts a crime in progress or an ongoing safety risk, call your local emergency services first. Then email us at abuse@ and we'll remove the stream immediately pending investigation.

§

Counter-notice

If you submitted a camera and we took it down after a complaint, you can send a counter-notice at dmca@videoai.comwith your reasoning. If the complainant doesn't file suit within 10 business days we may restore the stream.
